This product has worked wonders for training our two alaskan malamute puppies (6 months old, and 1 year and 5 months old). We have trainned both dogs to come on command and stopped undesirable behavior (chewing furniture, digging in the garden, etc.) by using the collars. As opposed to using the beep function to reward good behaviour we used it as a warning, and then the shock option to correct behaviour. After only 2 months of using the collar, we rarely use the shock buttons and mostly use the beep function to deter any unwanted behaviour. The only drawback to the product that I've noticed, is that the add-on-collar power button does not need to be held down for an extended period of time before turning off. So when my two dogs are playing, the add-on-collar often ends up being turn off. Despite this, I love the product and would recommend to family and friends.
