Replacement flap is not the quality of the original Johnson door. This one is much thinner. The last flap lasted 18 years, I can't seen this one lasting but a couple....Have no choice but to purchase this flap since the original door has been discontinued and the new doors are not the same size....big problem for us since the door is actually mounted on a wall. This flap also does not seal like the old one, a little wind and its flopping in and out.......

The manufactured holes in the plastic to prevent dog from getting stuck cause the door to become disconnected too easily. I have had to put this back together two times now. Any suggestiions?
