We did not get our cairn terrier completely house broken until we got this door! It took a couple of days to get her to go in and out by herself, but this has been a carpet saver for us!

The door is very well built and can't get much easier to install. The magnetic mechanism that keeps the flap closed has a piece below it that drops down when the pet goes thru the door to ease in operation of the flap. It is, however, very noisy as it drops down and is then picked up again by the magnet. I have had two of these doors and both are the same. Another complaint would be that you have to go to [...] or [...] to by hardware to lock the door to a slider. No holes in the door match up to the slider lock that you slide up against it.In defense of the product...It is the best of its kind out there.

Service & Delivery comments:

Delivery was prompt and arrived in good condition.
Communication with seller in Boca Grande was good.

I didn't think my six year old basset hound would use this. Did not have a doggy door until I found this one. Took a few tries to get her to use the dog door because we use the sliding glass door. But she finally got it and uses it fine. Love not having to get up and let her out.
