The door installed well and has endured a gaggle of boisterous dogs for 5 years in the Colorado heat, dryness and blizzards without fail. The flaps take a beating but last a long time - this is my first replacement purchase. My pets LOVE it and use it even when the "big door" is open wide next to it. They fly through it and stand in it and sleep next to it. The only drawback is that the flaps' magnets hold up and let air in so I have to check it. Also, it would be nice to have a lock hook to put on the wall beam and door cover and wider slides to secure the large size hole (which a person can squeeze through) with a padlock in the event security from invaders is preferred, as in the case of vacations, etc. Sometimes it's noisy in a quiet night, but then I just put the cover on. Other than that, this door has been a godsend! Thank you :)
