It weighs just 3 ounces and measures 2.25 x 1.5 x 1.25 inches. It is three times more powerful than our regular dog fence collars and is designed with stubborn or hard to train dogs. This was a replacement collar for our boxer b/c the one he had started going through the batteries. We had to change batteries every 2 days. BUT...we had this collar for years and it is used everyday, all day. I love this product and the company is accurate, fast and friendly. We also use a collar on our bloodhound. They both stay in the yard very well. Thanks RadioFence!

I have lived in several homes and purchased several different systems. I have a friend that spent over $2000 on a system that does not work like this one. The stubborn dog fence and collar really work. It is the ONLY one I have found that does work. The fence breaks a dog that is very smart and has previously ran through an underground fence. You can also purchase smaller collars which are compatible for smaller pets. I even have one for my cat! This fence holds my eager to get out labs in my yard!!!

The stubborn dog collar works best on think haired dogs. The clasp on the collar needs to be the buckle type because the plastic clips are easy for smart dogs to take each others collars off.

We have two Saint Benards. I work out of state one a regular basis, my wife is a third grade teacher and we have a son who is 10 years old. We reside on 10 acres completely fenced in to the height of 40 inches. My saints soon realized they could visit the neighbor dog by jumping the fence. It took me one day to install the entire perimeter of the ten acres and it took ten minutes for my saints to learn their boundaries. Best spent money in 10 years.
