We have a 1 year old Walker Hound (rescue) that couldn't understand the yard boundries. He learned them in just a day and will not go near the edge unless he is totaly messmorized by a butterfly. When we play ball he does not chase the ball out of the yard, even though he doesn't have the collar on unless he is unsupervized.

It took about two hours to install around our house and yard. Although our dog did get through it once during the training process, we just increased the strength of the signal and she never did it again. It took three weeks of training, but we were not good about doing it every day. It could have probably be done in less time. It has made our life so much easier and buying it and installing it ourselves really saved a lot of money. Easy to install. If you are questioning the install or if the product works, stop questioning and buy it.

This product is one of the greatest things we have ever invested for our home. It works EXACTLY as described, and once our dog was trained, you'd think there was an invisible wall around the yard. Combined with a self closing screen on our patio door, our dog can now go in and out of the house at will. What an amazing product. Besides, and this is the second best part, we saved a mountain of money compared to our neighbors who had a "franchised" company install theirs. Buy it, follow the training (which is easy), and you won't regret it.

I have a young very hyper Australian Shepard that I use to move cows from field to field. My board fence around my house would not keep him from chasing cows when he wanted to. This fence works great to keep him in the yard so we can play with him and I don't have to yell at him to quit chasing cows when I don't want him to.
